On Character: Integrity

I’ve done some writing on character lately, but my thoughts on integrity can’t compare to those of Kenny Moore.  So, not being one to reinvent the wheel, I’d like to share his thoughts with you.  Ah, the magic of the internet!

For those who do not know of Kenny, here is a bit about him:

Kenny Moore (www.kennythemonk.com) is co-author of The CEO and the Monk: One Company’s Journey to Profit and Purpose (John Wiley and Sons), rated as one of the top ten best selling business books on Amazon.com.

I’ve had the honor of meeting Kenny.  He is a wonderful teacher, thinker, writer, and mentor.  The article I’d like to share with you can be found on the site Business-Ethics.com, which is an online magazine edited by Michael Connor.  For the article, entitled “Opinion: Choosing Business Leaders with Integrity”, click here.

While the article may be written from the perspective of a large business, it is no less applicable to us in our small businesses and non profits.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Thanks for pointing me towards that article. It was enlightening. I liked how he said observe how executives relate to waiters, children, and rank and file employees – how those in power treat those with less power is a window to their character.
